1. Metal Tape with conductive self-adhesive
    3201, 3202 & 3203

These tapes can be cut in all widths from 3 mm wide and can be delivered from stock. Standard are the 16.5 meter rolls. A width of 25 mm is the most common used size. When you need to cover bigger surfaces contact our engineers for than you can possible better use this tape together with copper foil with a non-conductive adhesive for this is cheaper.

Applications: electrical connection between surfaces (sheets / foils), die-cuts, mounting transparent foils, shielding in housings, shielding cables, temporary shielding during tests (see also shielding foils).

There are three types of metal tape with conductive adhesive available:

• Copper tape with conductive adhesive part 3201
  A soft metal foil with a highly conductive self-adhesive on one side, with a release liner.
• Tinned copper tape part 3202
  As tape 3201 but than with a tin layer for corrosion protection or better solderable.
• Aluminium tape part 3203
  Special developed for aluminium housings and frames to prevent galvanic corrosion.

2. Contact Surface Tape 3204 A metal tape with a highly conductive self-adhesive on one side and a masking tape on the other side. This contact surface tape is used to improve the corrosion resistance of construction metals (like un treated steel plates), or to improve the galvanic compatibility when 2 metal parts are connected with a gasket. After the parts have been coated, the paint overlaps the metal tape to increase the bonding. for more specifications see table below

 

3. Mounting tape 3205 A double-sided self-adhesive transfer tape for mounting purposes. This system can be applied much faster than a conductive glue and can be applied very accurately. No time required for curing (pressure sensitive version) For lower resistance and or to fill gaps with a rough surface we advise you the shieldokit electrical conductive 2 components adhesive.(see conductive glue)   for more specifications see table below

4. Die-cut mounting tape 3206

A soft metal foil, laminated on 2 sides with a conductive self-adhesive. This is only available in sheets.
